Dr. Sherlyn Spooner, DVM, M.Sc.
Dr. Spooner graduated from the veterinary faculty of the Universite de Montreal and went on to pursue an advanced degree in clinical medicine. Her master's thesis dealt specifically with feline behaviour. Dr. Spooner has been helping to enrich and nurture the human-cat bond since 1991. She has also lectured extensively on many aspects of feline behaviour across the country. Dr. Spooner has been working at a cats only clinic in Montreal for the last few years where she has been able to pursue her passion for cat medicine. She has contributed to Quirks and Quarks, the CBC science show, on cat behaviour and has even been known to meow on National Radio. She was recently featured in an article in the Montreal Gazette as a veterinary behaviourist.
